Our team will help you choose the restaurant prototype that’s right for your market. Options include:

- Endcap with drive-thru

Site Criteria
We’ll work with you to choose the right location for your new A&W. Sites must meet the following requirements:

Location Requirements
- Daytime population of 5,000 – 12,000 per square mile (One- and two-mile radius)
- Residential population of 12,000 – 25,000 per square mile (One- and two-mile radius)
- Median household income: $40K – $75K
- Located in or near A-rated retail centers
- One parking space for every two seats
- Visible from all angles
- Two entry and exit points preferred

- One acre of land
- 2,176 square feet
- Drive-thru and dining room with 56-60 seats

- 1,800 to 2,100 square feet
- Drive-thru and dining room with 24-36 seats

- 800 to 1,000 square feet
- Dining room if no common seating available
Construction Support
As a franchise partner, you will select your own general contractor. Then, our A&W franchise development team will help oversee the construction process and keep your project moving forward. We’ll ensure that your new restaurant adheres to brand standards and will conduct multiple on-site progress visits.
